Alan White has nearly 10 years experience in information technology. He began his career as a computer programmer and is now an accomplished software developer and test engineer. Alan graduated magna cum laude from St. Petersburg College having earned a Bachelors Degree in Technology Management. He spoke at the PNSQC in 2005, the IQC and ISTC in 2006, at VERIFY 2006 and the PSQT in 2007 where his topics on test automation have received great interest and reviews. Tasked to spearhead an automated test effort for one of Nielsen’s most critical applications, Mr. White successfully retained interest and commitment from the user community and management by developing automation software that: is intuitive, reduces errors, improves script maintenance, promotes script reuse, and ensures quality goals are met. Several project teams within the company have adopted this solution with favorable results.
